If you prefer bold jewellery, you would love this handmade earrings.. Well, I know I did. They are actually handmade design, inspired by Spirograph shapes. I found my old Spirograph a few weeks ago and started to play with it. As I was drawing different shapes I decided to make a Spirograph earrings. I made a few different forms, in the pictures below you may see one of them. They are quite easy to make and so fun to wear. In order to make them I used a wire and an embroidery thread in intense colors.

Spirograph is a geometric drawing toy. This toy produces mathematical curves of the variety technicaly known as hypotrochoids and epitrochoids. Aside of this whole mathematical mumbo-jambo here is a link if you still don’t remmber this amazing drawing toys. When I was a little girl I used to spend so much time playing with my Spirograph.  I never knew at the time that there was so much math involved, did you?!
